On July 1st Bishop Thomas J. Gnat, Diocesan Bishop of the Eastern Diocese, assumed the pastorate of St. Joseph’s Parish.  He will lead the process of finding a new pastor and will appoint a priest as pastor with the concurrence of the Parish Committee (board of directors) in accordance to the Constitution and Laws of the Polish National Catholic Church.

In the meantime Bishop Gnat will be scheduling priests to come to St. Joseph’s to offer Holy Mass.  Please check “This Month” under ”Our Calendar”  to find out at what time and on what days worship will be offered at St. Joseph’s of Stratford.

Please note that Bishop Gnat has assigned the Very Rev. Joseph Krusienski as the parish administrator for the interim.

Please  note that messages sent to Pastor@stjosephsofstratford.org will be forwarded to the Deacon.

We are a Catholic Church that is sacramentally focused on Christ, democratically governed, youth-oriented and community-minded.  We are Apostolic and Biblical in our faith tradition, but not papal. We are building on 100 years of faith in Jesus Christ with worship, fellowship and democracy.

We are a parish within the Eastern Diocese of the Polish National Catholic Church of America, which is a Catholic Christian denomination established in the United States in 1897.  Our parish was the first PNC church organized in Connecticut in 1907.

The weekly Sunday Bulletin is available at the page entitled:  Our Calender
