MEAL IN THE UPPER ROOM
SUNDAY, April 2nd, 4:30pm
A symbolic meal based on the Passover Meal, which takes place in silence, with food consisting of pita bread, lamb stew, fruits, nuts, a symbolic glass of wine and Scripture passages read by the participants. It is not a fundraiser or a fun gathering. Meal in the Upper Room is a spiritual preparation for the events of the Holy Week. Sitting is strictly allocated with names of those attending displayed on the tables. Maintaining of silence and respect for the nature of the meal are essential.
