EASTER CANDY SALE Please place your order for Gertrude Hawk Easter Candy before the deadline of Sun. 2/28. Candy will be delivered by 3/20. Order forms and information are in the lobby. The parish receives a nice percentage on the sales receipts so please support if you can. See Beth Ann Masulli if you need any further information.
THE ANNUAL SUPER BOWL FELLOWSHIP sponsored by the Men’s Society will be held on Sunday, Feb. 7. This event is free to members of the YMS of R and only $10.00 to non members. As always there will be plenty of snacks, food, and drink. It is open to all church members (ladies too) and their friends. Please let Rob, Joe, or Dave know if you plan to attend so that they know how many to plan for. Starts at 6:00p.m.
DONATIONS FOR HAITI RELIEF Pre printed envelopes “Haiti Disaster Relief” were passed out at the annual meeting last Sunday and are available at the rear of the church. Our parish will be collecting free will donations during the month of February. You can put them in with the regular basket collections. The parish committee will hold the money and then make a donation to a worthy agency yet to be determined (such as Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc). In the latest issue of Gods Field, Prime Bishop Nemkovich has asked that we as members of the P.N.C.C. donate whatever we can to help those in such need in Haiti.
MANY THANKS TO BISHOP ANTHONY AND DARLENE KOPKA for their very generous and thoughtful donation of a spectacular Lladro figurine of Christ which is displayed in our case in the entry to the church. It was presented to our parish last Sunday by Darlene to thank St. Joseph’s for the reception that we held for Bishop Anthony last June, all of the well wishes that he has received since he left, and the support that he received at his installation in Chicago in Sept. May God Bless the Kopka Family.
YEAR END GIVING STATEMENTS for 2009 are available at the rear of the church. Please pick yours up so that we won’t have to mail them out to you. Thank You.
HOME BLESSINGS FOR 2010 The blessing of homes will take place starting on Jan. 7 and end on Feb. 16. It is recommended that you contact either Deacon Masulli or Father Senior Krusienski to make an appointment to have your home blessed.
