
Our Pastor
The Very. Rev. Joseph Krusienski has been temporarily assigned as pastor and administrator of St. Joseph’s of Stratford until a permanent pastor is assigned.
Father Senior Krusienski is no stranger to the Polish National Catholic parishes of Connecticut, having served at a number of them since his arrival in the state in 1971. He has served Holy Trinity parish in the Plantsville section of Southington for 39 years.
Born in Canonsburg, Penn., he attended Sacred Heart of Jesus parish with his family. He entered Savonarola Seminary of the PNCC and was ordained into the priesthood on Jan. 8, 1970. After a brief stop as an assistant at St. Peter and Paul parish in Passaic, N.J., Father Senior headed to Connecticut.
In his time in the state he has also served St. Casimir in Wallingford, Holy Savior in Union City and the Church of the Transfiguration in New Britain. He was elevated to the position of senior priest on Dec. 2, 1985 by Right Rev. Thomas Gnat, bishop of the Eastern Diocese of the PNCC, and is charged with overseeing the Southwest Seniorate of the PNCC. We welcome Father Senior Joe and his wife Lorraine to St. Joseph’s.
